You are here to check the engineering before you recommend it. So here is the hardware, the network and the building, with the numbers. We own and operate the servers. They run from a Tampa, Florida datacenter.

The building, by the numbers.
The building, the power plant and the cooling are run to enterprise spec by the datacenter operator, not by Blue Arctic; these are its specifications. What we own is the hardware inside it.
Access to the building is controlled and monitored.
The building itself is part of the protection. Concrete block and steel with a 135 mph wind-rated roof, a man-trap entrance, 24/7 monitored access control, and more than 20 motion-activated cameras watched around the clock.
The Tampa, FL datacenter holds SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification covering its physical and operational controls. That certification belongs to the datacenter. It is not a Blue Arctic product certification.
Regulated workloads are scoped as compliance engagements.
Redundant power, cooling and network paths, engineered to reduce single points of failure.
A power cut in Tampa should not reach your website.
- N+1 high-efficiency battery UPS, meaning backup batteries with a spare unit beyond what is needed, carrying the load while the generator takes over
- 1,000+ gallons of diesel on site, and 420 tons of precision cooling with two full spare units beyond design load (N+2 CRAC)
- Fire suppression above and below the floor: dual-interlock dry pipe overhead, Inergen gas and leak detection below
Redundancy reduces risk. It does not remove it. What that means for your website, including the failures this cannot protect you from, is on redundant hosting.

Your traffic leaves Tampa over several major carriers rather than one. It takes the fastest route open at that moment, without anyone having to intervene. Attack traffic is filtered upstream, before it gets anywhere near you.

Hardware we own, maintained by the people who answer you
Every server, switch and firewall here was specified, bought and racked by our own team, and the IP addresses are our own ARIN allocation. When a drive fails, one of our engineers replaces it.
Storage mirrored across drives, so one drive failing does not lose data (RAID-10)
Storage runs on SSDs in RAID-10 across the hosting fleet: striped for performance, mirrored for redundancy.
A 99.99% uptime SLA with defined service credits
The uptime commitment and its credit schedule are in the service level agreement, not in marketing copy. Read the SLA.
Questions about the hardware and the building.
Does Blue Arctic own the servers, or the building?
The servers, switches and firewalls are ours, purchased, configured and managed by our own engineers, along with our own ARIN-allocated IP space. The Tampa, FL datacenter building is operated by a third party. We do not own it, and we do not operate it.
What happens if the power or the network fails?
Utility power bridges to N+1 UPS batteries and on-site generators carrying more than eight days of fuel. Transit runs across several major carriers, so traffic reroutes when one has trouble. That reduces single points of failure. It does not remove them, and the 99.99% uptime SLA is what says so in writing.
Can I visit the datacenter?
It is infrastructure space rather than an office, and access is restricted. If seeing the hardware matters to your evaluation, ask an engineer and we will tell you what can be arranged.
